Transforming Communities Through Action
The Daddy Ndong International Humanitarian Foundation (DANIHF) has been involved in several humanitarian activities focused on assisting and empowering vulnerable communities in Cameroon and beyond.
IDPs Education Support - Yaoundé
Assisted Internally Displaced Persons from North West Region with didactic materials for back to school academic year 2020/21. Books, school bags, pens, hand sanitizers, face masks, and other items were handed over by Centre Regional Coordinator Madam Ngwang Diana Joyce.
Education Support - Togo
Handed over didactic materials to less privileged children in Blé, Lome, Togo who couldn't attend school due to lack of learning materials. Boosted their back to school campaign with essential supplies.
University Scholarship Program
Launched partial scholarship program for 10 IDPs who gained admission into universities as freshmen and women. DANIHF paid half of their school tuition for academic year 2020/21 across Universities of Buea, Bamenda, Douala, and Yaoundé 1.
COVID-19 Relief - Bamenda/Bali
In collaboration with MP Hon. Manjuh Nestus Fru, handed out COVID-19 kits and didactic materials to schools in Bamenda and Bali from October 12-15, 2020.
Christmas Outreach - Nigeria
Fruitful End of Year celebrations with widows and less privileged children in Enugu and Anambra states, Nigeria. Distributed food stuff and beverages to show family support during Christmas season.
Medical Support - Akwaya IDP
Successfully paid all medical bills for a young man from Akwaya who was an IDP in Bamenda requiring surgery. North West Regional bureau covered all costs for safe surgical operation.
Hospital Assistance Program
Ongoing program assisting many people in hospitals without or little family support. DANIHF provides help to bring them out of difficult situations, embodying the family spirit.
